Cayuga County Criminal History does not compile, keep, or sell a database of personal criminal records. It publishes general directions to the Cayuga County Sheriff's Office, the relevant court clerks, the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services, and the New York State Sex Offender Registry, with local numbers checked against the county directory. Visitor data is not assembled into third-party dossiers or consumer reports, and this website is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Outside companies power the search boxes. Information submitted to one of those tools is governed by that provider's privacy terms rather than this policy. Each provider decides how long it keeps data and when it shares data. Review those terms before running a query.

Links may lead to Cayuga County offices, New York courts and agencies, legal-aid resources, or outside search services. Once a visitor leaves this website, the destination's policy controls. Read it before providing personal information.
